We offer a 1 -2 - 1 training course on the basics of SLR photography. This session lasts for a minimum of 2 hours and we cover all of the aspects you need to know to get started with your SLR camera. Whether you want to shoot portrait, landscape or any other genre, we can customise this course for you.

This course is aimed at complete beginners who want to learn how to progress their photography and shoot on manual with confidence!


Course topics include:

  • ISO settings.
  • Exposure metering/ bracketing.
  • Aperture and depth of field.
  • Shutter speed.
  • Focal length and focussing techniques.
  • Use of different lenses.
  • Direction and quality of light.
  • Image composition.
